Two Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is the seventh episode of Season 6 of Three's Company, and the 107th overall episode in the series. Written by Shelley Zellman, the episode was directed by Dave Powers. It first aired on ABC-TV on November 10, 1981.

SynopsisEdit

Dr Miller (Jeffrey Tambor), a psychiatrist from the hospital, tells Terri he is stressed out. Terri invites him to dinner at her place to get a break from his patients. Misunderstandings arise when Jack and Janet think he is an escaped mental patient.

StorylineEdit

Terri and her friend, Dr. Tom Miller, decide to have dinner out but first they make a stop at the trio's apartment. Jack and Janet meet Tom and misunderstand. They think that he is a patient of the psychiatric ward of the hospital. Meanwhile, it's been a long day for Tom and as he unwinds it only convinces Jack and Janet that he's a little off. Jack and Janet try to keep them from leaving and eventually end up following them to the restaurant thinking Terri is in danger.
