About Tom[]

When Jack is hired by Mrs. Latham (Sally Kemp) to give her cooking lessons, he tries to teach her first how to make egg rolls, as he starts out teaching her to cook Chinese food. Upon their second meeting at the apartment, where he's trying to teach her how to cook pasta, Jack heads to his bedroom to change, as she goes to the bathroom to freshen up and change from her cooking clothes back into her dress in the bathroom. When Terri, who is on her lunch break, decides to drop by the apartment, she's led to believe that there was more than cooking going on between pupil and teacher as Mrs. Latham comes out of the bathroom, needing her dress to be zipped from the back!

When Joanna praises Jack's teaching "technique", saying that he let her "do it over, and over again!", Terri, in disbelief, mistakenly thinks that he's hired by her as a gigolo; things only get worse when her husband Tom drops by, as she thinks he approves of their lessons, which she thinks is lovemaking, as she asks, shocked, and in amazement, "Jack's giving her lessons, and you don't mind!?", as he replies "I thought it would be fun to watch!" as she then douses the spaghetti and meatball dish his wife and Jack prepared over his head!

It finally takes Jack to clear up the misunderstanding Terri had about Mrs. Latham's lessons, as he explains to Mr. Latham that the reason Terri doused with the pasta dish was that she thought that he was giving her "love lessons", as everyone has a big laugh, except for him, as he is embarrassed at their laughing at the possibility of being a gigolo!
