The Love Barge is the eleventh episode of season four of Three's Company, and the 64th overall episode of the series. Co-written by Bill Richmond and Gene Perret and directed by Dave Powers, it first aired 27 November 1979 on ABC.

Summary[]

Jack gets a part time job as assistant chef on a luxury week-long cruise and he can take one guest. He considers one of his girlfriends but Janet and Chrissy were hoping that he would ask one of them. And they think he wants a playmate. But he says he doesn't want them to feel like he prefers one over the other. The girls almost stop speaking to each other over who will get to go. They decide to find a way to pick who will go. They play games and when that doesn't work out. They decide to let whomever Furley first speaks to, to be the one who goes. And when he speaks to Janet, Chrissy wallows which makes Janet reconsider. Lana finally makes them realize that it's not worth ruining their friendship over and then decides that she should go. Jack doesn't want to go with Lana so he sends Ralph instead. Ralph gets hopelessly seasick and Lana is very angry.
