The Best Laid Plans is the seventeenth episode of Season 3 of Three's Company, also the 48th overall episode in the series. Directed by Dave Powers, the episode, which was co-written by John Baskin and Roger Shulman, originally aired on ABC-TV on February 13, 1979.
It is adapted from "Of Mice and Friends," an episode of Three's Company's British sitcom prototype Man About The House.
When Janet is terrified by a mouse in their bedroom, Jack takes advantage of the situation by offering to move in with Chrissy until the rodent is captured.
Janet panics when she sees a mouse in her bedroom. Generous Jack offers to switch rooms with her. Can Jack be making this gesture out of the goodness of his heart? Well, not exactly -- if Janet moves into his room, he'll be all that much closer to the toothsome Chrissy.
