Bill Martin in "Navy Blues" (Season 7)
Rod McCary (born 15 April 1941) made two guest appearances on Three's Company; first, as Gregg Halliday, a date of Janet's whom she meets in the flower shop where she works in the Season 3 episode "The Harder They Fall", then as Bill Martin, an old Navy cook buddy of Jack's who tries to scheme his way into co-signing on Jack's new lease to Jack's Bistro in "Navy Blues" in Season 7.
Rod has made numerous guest appearances on many TV shows over the course of his career dating back to the 1970s on such shows as Three's Company, Mod Squad, Columbo, Alice and Carter Country, as well as Growing Pains, Hart to Hart, Sanford, Fantasy Island, Highway to Heaven, Night Court, ABC-TV's Hooperman (in which John Ritter starred), Murder, She Wrote and most recently, Walker, Texas Ranger, Parks and Recreation, and Revenge.
His many TV movie appearances include Through Naked Eyes (1983), Beverly Hills Madam (1986), Opposites Attract (1990) , and the Hallmark Channel's McBride: Murder Past Midnight (2005, with McBride TV film series star John Larroquette).
Rod's numerous big-screen film appearances include roles in Disney's No Drums, No Bugles (1972), Herbie Rides Again (1974), Stir Crazy (1980), Moon over Parador (1988), and most recently, 28 Days (2000), and Down and Dirty in 2001. Rod appears as Mr. Tubai in the 2017 film Spreading Darkness.
