Paul Kent (October 13, 1930 – October 7, 2011) made two guest appearances on Three's Company; first as security alarm salesman Alvin Morrell in "Jack Moves Out" (Season 3) and then as Dr. Anderson in "Professor Jack" in Season 6.

Paul, who was a career character actor who starred in film, television, and the theater, acted for over five decades. Kent is perhaps best known for playing Lieutenant Commander Beach in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

CareerEdit

Kent appeared in both versions of the made-for-television biopic Helter Skelter: the 1976 original made-for-TV CBS movie which starred Steve Railsback in the role of Charles Manson, and also the 2004 CBS-TV remake, where Jeremy Davis played the role of Manson.

Paul's many other TV movie credits include The Alpha Caper (1973), Pray for the Wildcats (1974, with William Shatner and Andy Griffith), Guilty or Innocent: The Sam Sheppard Murder Case (1975), J. Edgar Hoover (1987), and A Killer Among Us (1990). Kent also appeared in the pilot movie for the ABC-TV series T.J. Hooker in 1982. He also appeared in several regular episodes of the series.

Kent also made guest appearances on The Mod Squad, Barney Miller, Falcon Crest, Night Court (with series co-star John Larroquette), and Frasier. He also appeared in such films as Lifeguard (1976), Perfect (1985), and A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987).

Personal life/familyEdit

Kent was the father of several children. At the time of his death he had been married to actress and author Madelyn Cain.

DeathEdit

Kent passed away on 7 October 2011, after a lengthy battle with multiple myeloma in Los Angeles at the age of 80. He is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills. [1]
