Gino Conforti (born 30 January 1932) appeared as Felipe, salad chef at Angelino's Restaurant in six episodes of Three's Company. Gino is of Italian and Hispanic descent.

Life and Career[]

From 1962 to 1971, Gino appeared in several Broadway theater musicals, including the role of the fiddler in the original production of Fiddler on the Roof with Zero Mostel. Gino also appeared as the barber in the movie Man of La Mancha, starring Peter O'Toole. Beginning in the late 1960s, he appeared in guest roles on American television. His largest live-action roles were the recurring characters of Nino in That Girl (1969–1971) and the high-strung Hispanic chef Felipe Gomez in Three's Company (1981–1982).

He also appeared in season 1 episode 4 ("Divorce Isn't Everything") of CBS's The Mary Tyler Moore Show show as Roy, a member of the Better Luck Next Time club when Mary and Rhoda pretended to be divorced.

Conforti started voice acting in 1986, landing a starring voice role that year in the television cartoon Galaxy High School. He has also lent his voice talent to the DuckTales series as Benzino Gasolini and the animated films Thumbelina as Jacquimo and Monsters, Inc.

Recent Appearances[]

In 2008, Conforti appeared as a hot dog vendor in a T-Mobile advertising campaign for the T-Mobile G1 Phone. He can be seen looking at his customer as she asks the camera, "What's really in a hot dog?" In 2009, he made an appearance as Cardinal Pugini in the Ron Howard-directed film Angels & Demons.
