Paula Shaw (born 17 July 1941) appears as Ruth Wood, Janet's mother, in the Three's Company episode titled "Janet's Secret" in Season 5.
A life member of Actors Studio,[1] Paula has portrayed characters in numerous films and on television (including a role as prostitute on the ABC-TV sitcom series Barney Miller, Season 3, Episodes 2 & 3, "Quarantine", and Season 4, Episode 3, "Bugs"). She is perhaps best known for portraying the Mrs. Pamela Voorhees in Freddy vs. Jason. She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
