Summary[]

Larry wants to take his girlfriend Laura camping but she's an actress and isn't interested until Larry tells her that Jack, a famous film director, is also going. Larry tries to get Jack to go but he's too exhausted to go, but Larry assures him he will get plenty of rest.

When Chrissy and Janet, and Lana, find out about it, they all decide to go too. Upon arrival, they discover that the fabled hillside "chateau" is a cabin with only one room. Lana is only after Jack, Larry's girl is after Jack, sill thinking that he's a director, in trying to "get discovered", and Jack is only after a little bit of rest due to his lack of sleep, since he just finished all his tests at cooking school. Laura, Larry's girlfriend, upon finding out that Jack is not a film director, angrily leaves,

Lana, who told Mr. Furley, who was persuaded to go on the trip to the "chateau" by Lana on the pretense that she actually wanted to go with him there, to go fetch some fresh strawberries which aren't in season, is later cornered by Ralph, who was able to not only find some strawberries, but also some whipped cream -- at a general store -- on the other side of the hill nearby, as the kids finally settle down to sleep in a tent, actually only Janet and Chrissy after they kick Jack out of their tent, leaving him to try to sleep in a nearby hammock that he has trouble lying in, just as it begins to rain!
